OSUN Courses

OSUN-wide Courses

Syslab, through its GeoHub project, conducts courses open not only to students at CEU but to a wider Open Society University Network (OSUN) community. Such courses bring students together across countries to debate and exchange ideas and experiences.

OSUN allows two types of such network-wide courses:

  • OSUN Online Courses, offered by a single institution to students across the OSUN network. They take place entirely online and include students from the host institution; and
  • OSUN Collaborative Courses, co-designed and taught simultaneously across partner institutions. The courses may differ by institution but share key assignments and bring students at different campuses together to have class discussions and collaborate online.

In the Winter term of the 2022/23 academic year, Syslab is conducting OSUN Online Course on Earth Observations in Monitoring Sustainable Development Goals.

For the 2023/24 academic year, Syslab got approval to conduct an OSUN Collaborative Course in cooperation with the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).
