CEU Visiting Fellowship Program 2018/19 - Call for Applications

The Visiting Fellowship Program supports collaborations and linkages between CEU departments and research centers and individual scholars and academic centers at partner universities that stimulate research and curriculum innovation across a wide range of disciplines in the social sciences and humanities focusing on number of subjects and themes, including climate change mitigation and adaptation and higher education in open society.

The Research Excellence Fellowship is offered to academics employed in higher education institutions and/or academic research institutions in the countries of the Global South, who wish to spend one or two terms at the CEU Systems Laboratory (Department of Environmental Sciences) conducting original research that will lead to a groundbreaking publication in an international peer-reviewed journal. These Fellowships are particularly suited to facilitate research collaborations between the CEU units and scholars and their international academic counterparts.

The potential topics could be broadly defined as Geospatial Data Collection and Analysis and application of Information and Communication Technologies for data-driven decision-making. Please send your preliminary inquiries regarding suitable topics to syslab@ceu.edu.

Fellowship requires adequate command of the English language and full-time residence in Budapest during the term of the Fellowship. Available funding covers international travel, visa and insurance costs, accommodations at the CEU Residence and a living stipend.

Deadline for applications for the academic year 2018/19 is 10 May 2018.
