New presenters confirmed their participation on the "Geospatial Technologies and Remote Sensing for Monitoring SDGs" ISEPEI Workshop 2019

Well-known international organizations will be presenting on ISEPEI summer workshop "Geospatial Technologies and Remote Sensing for Monitoring SDGs", which will be held on July 22-26, 2019.

Recently several partners have confirmed their participation in the workshop among others, the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC) and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Alan Belward, Head of the Food Security Unit within JRC's Sustainable Resources Directorate will present leading European experience in geospatial technologies in monitoring SDGs and disaster risk reduction.

From the FAO, Marcello Rezende, Land Monitoring Specialist from the Climate and Environmental Division will introduce the Collect Earth and Earth Map tools and give an overview of their application in relation to SDG indicators.
