ISEPEI is proud to announce the release of our new video, produced by CEU, summarizing last year workshop experience. The video was filmed during the ISEPEI’s 2016 ICT training “Innovations in Disaster Risk Management” conducted in cooperation with UNDP. Based on both UNDP and other DRR expert's experience, this workshop highlighted recent innovative advances in ICTs and how they are empowering both decision-makers and citizens in managing disaster risks and providing more effective disaster response. 

The International Day for Disaster Reduction was declared by the United Nations on 13 October 2016. This year IDDR celebrates how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to disasters and raising awareness about the importance of reining in the risks that they face. The 2016 edition marks the launch of the new "Sendai Seven" campaign, centered on the seven targets of the Sendai Framework.
