For the tenth season, CEU’s Environmental Systems Laboratory is organizing the CEU’s Summer University course on the promotion of application of geospatial technologies and remote sensing in various environmental domains. 2023’s in-person course on "Geospatial Technologies for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - Building Resilience" is all set to kick off on July 24th, 2023 in Budapest!

The ever-present topic of Big Data was once again in the spotlight with the talk by Chrys Margaritidis on the ethical implications of Big Data, particularly addressing the field of geographic information systems (GIS). This public lecture, organized by the OSUN GeoHub project, was held at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) on June 7 and gathered an audience both in-person and online.
