The GeoHub project recently organized a two-day conference at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), bringing together local experts, faculty, and students from AUCA, as well as members of the wider OSUN community.
Last week, OSUN GeoHub project was glad to host Elizaveta Khazieva, GIS expert and PhD researcher from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During her stay, she took the time to support students of the "Earth Observations in Monitoring SDGs" and "Introduction to Geospatial Analysis" courses.
At the time of writing, the death toll of the February 6th earthquake in Turkey and Syria surpassed 46,000. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southeastern Turkey and parts of Syria, devastating areas in both countries and shocking the world.
