Locating Logistics Centers: Case of Russia

This project applies a spatial analysis tool to allocate the best places for logistics centers development on the territory of the Russian Federation. Using ArcGIS Network Analyst, the most suitable cities for logistics center allocation are selected based on railway networks accessibility within the Eurasian Economic Union, proximity to the contiguous cities, proximity to transhipment terminals, regional socioeconomic situation, infrastructure development and investment attractiveness. The project aims at selecting ten candidate cities for logistics centers allocation.
